Sydney Jazz and Blues Festival at Darling Harbour

9th – 11th of June there is a Jazz and Blues festival happening in Darling Harbour Sydney. So yesterday we decided to go look around and listen to some music. We includes @Rubenerd, @Sebasu_tan, @hanezawakirika, @adasifs, @Keodara_, @alchmyest and me @jamiejakov.

At first we met up at the UTS tower at 3:30 and just went towards Darling Harbour, where we listened to Kira Puru & the Bruise fro about 30 mins. Then we got Ruben a hot cup of coffee to keep him warm and went under the big tent to watch the last performance of the day.

So I’ve been wanting to gate a replacement for some time now. today I finally found it.
This beautiful toxic-orange case looks just awesome. And it also goes well with my shoes!

Rubber band ball

My goal: make the worlds largest rubber band ball! (not really, but i want to see how big i can make it).

Reason: reason? i ain’t got no reason! just for the sake of it XD

Idea: Blu from Fosters Home for Imaginary Friends

So, what i got so far is a ball and a bag of rubber bands, lets see how long it will take me to put them all on, and how big the ball will become.

My Tsumiki can’t be this cute!

俺のつみきがこんなに可愛いわけがない

In every episode of Acchi Kocchi (あっちこっち) they make Tsumiki make the cutest facial expressions and wear the cutest things!

Well episode 9 was no exception! Feist you eyes on this 140cm (not 100% sure, no info on her height yet, will research) tall purple haired girl wearing a cat costume!

The reason she is dressed up like that is because, their class is making a crepe stall for the culture festival and Tsumiki will be the mascot. And since everything is this anime is cat themed – nyan (Tsumiki being the main cat), they just had to make hear wear a cat hoodie, HNNNNGGGGGGG

Anyway back to watching the episode!

Summer 2012 anime list

So here it is: the summer anime list.

It is by far not the final version, but lest just see what good things i will be watching next season.

Soooooooooo this is the stuff ill be watching in summer:

  1. Koi to Senkyou to Chocolate: this seems like the K-ON kind of slice of life, where nothing happens, just cute girls doing cute things, we shall see what it turns into.
  2. Kono naka ni Hitori, Imouto ga Iru (NakaImo): ok! this has an Imouto and the name is as long as OreImo so it should be good!
  3. Ebiten: Kouritsu Ebisugawa Koukou Tenmonbu: made by same people as Seitokai no Ichizon, should be good
  4. Dakara boku wa H ga dekinai: made by people who made Yosuga no Sora and Mayo Chiki; lots of ecchi, will watch
  5. Kokoro Connect looks just like K-ON (art wise) must watch!
  6. Yuru Yuri ♪♪ is a must watch!

There are some good movies coming out as well and ill be able to watch Ookami kodomo no Ame to Yuki , yaaay I’m happy!

Everybody is curious as to what the next iPhone will look like!

Well the nice folk over from 9to5Mac.com has acquired some interesting images that portray the design of the next generation device.

As can be seen on the photo the new iPhones will have a aluminum back cover (yay! no more fragile glass). Also they seem to have a new type of dock connector.

Not to sure how apple plans on changing the dock connector when we are all used to the 30pin one….. Some people speculate that it is in order to make room for bigger and better speakers and microphone.

Another thing to note is that the headphone jack has been moved to the bottom, so now its the same as the iPod touch.

Furthermore the size of the device is slightly bigger, the screen being 4inches instead of 3,5 on the current iPhone.

Anyway, it looks awesome, and i can’t wait to get my hands on this beautiful device!
