Kill Bill

Kill Bill yellow poster

Why have I not seen this movie up until now? Its a Quentin Tarantino movie, yet I have just watched it last week! Well, to be honest, I haven’t seen any of his other movies, but I have heard very good things about them and some people even say that he is a genius when it comes to film making. There is no reason why it took me so long to watch Kill Bill, but I am grateful to German for making me watch it (just like that: “we are watching this movie now, no buts!”). I will just give a brief overview of the show and wont get into much detail, so there will be no spoilers.

Super Hexagon game

I was introduced to this game by my friend Patrick. I remember that day well, it was before one of our club karaoke sessions, Pat came over and said something along these lines: “Hey Vadim, I know you love juBeat, here is a game that will test your skills even more. Its called Super Hexagon.”

TokyoMagnitude1

Last thing I fully watched was Tokyo Magnitude 8.0 so I decided to write up a small review about it. I was warned that it is that kind of series that will make you feel very emotional for the characters. I can say one thing…. IT WAS!

Chunibyou demo koi ga shitai

********* CAUTION SPOILERS***********

When I initially saw the preview for this show (Chu2) I though: “Hmmm Kyoto Animation (KyoAni) is making a action anime with super national battles?! LINE, the best messaging app

December 27th, 2012

Ever since the smartphone boom in Japan there was a constant search for the best messaging app. And then there came LINE.

It is not much different from all the other messaging apps, but it has this one killer feature that made it the best: stickers.

These “stickers” are emoji style images that users can send to each other in order to express their emotions.

Unlike normal emoji which get old pretty quickly, these stickers are constantly updated. Like for example the recent addition of the Miku or EVA or Gangnam style stickers.

I use this app a lot and recommend it to all my friends. Here is a promotional video:

Tatami Galaxy review

August 3rd, 2012

Tatami Galaxy

Tatami Galaxy (四畳半神話大系) – an anime worthy of being called a classic! It is hard to describe the genre for this particular anime, but I’m guessing it would fall under the random / life / mystery. Even though it was only 11 episodes long, it is definitely a must watch for all anime lovers.

If you wish to continue reading, be warned that a lot of SPOILERS await!
